Vows with weather in them
The series
Tarnlight weddings happen outdoors wherever the couple dares: lakeshore clearings, fell-top vows, candlelit barns when the rain wins. Coverage is quiet and unobtrusive — no staged line-ups eating your golden hour — and every gallery is edited as a storybook, from boots-on to last dance.
What is included
Up to twelve hours with one photographer who knows the fells — preparations through to the ceilidh, with a second shooter on request.
A half-day package for fell-top vows: route planning, witness wrangling, weather calls and one very good bottle recommendation.
Lay-flat fine-art album, linen-bound and printed on cotton paper — designed with you, proofed twice, kept forever.
How a wedding day runs
We walk your route together beforehand, agree three must-have portraits, then let the day breathe. I shoot the weather you get — mist is a gift, not a problem — and I am gone before you notice, back with a preview gallery within a week.
He shot our wedding in horizontal rain and made it look like the best decision we ever made.
