Questions, answered
How far ahead should we book a wedding?
Nine to eighteen months is typical for Saturdays between May and September. Elopements and weekday ceremonies can often be arranged with a few weeks' notice — it never hurts to ask.
What happens if the weather turns?
We shoot it. Mist, rain and storm-light make some of my favourite frames, and every booking includes a sheltered backup route agreed in advance. Only genuinely dangerous conditions move a date — and then I rebook you free of charge.
Do you travel outside the Lake District?
Gladly — Scotland, Wales and the Dales most often, and further afield for multi-day stories. Travel within Cumbria is included; beyond that I charge one straightforward mileage and bothy rate.
How do print orders work?
Choose your edition in the print shop and check out securely. Each print is made to order, signed, numbered and dispatched in protective flat packaging within ten working days.
